Welcome!
I originally conceived OfficiallyCute.com after getting to know my girlfriend's cat Georgia really well. As time passed, my digital camera caught so many of her cute antics, I decided to dedicate a website to her.
From there, I thought, "why limit OfficiallyCute.com to Georgia?" Certainly there are Officially Cute! people and other Officially Cute! pets in the world. Who knows? Maybe they'd appreciate some Officially Cute! stuff!
Then, we got some bad news: Georgia has kidney problems. She gradually lost almost a pound, which is about 10% of her normal weight. We aren't sure yet if it's because of chronic renal failure (CRF), which will dramatically shorten her lifespan, or something else.
At first, I thought about scrapping the project. The cute pictures that once made me so happy, now made me sad. But then, I figured that, at worst, I could chronicle her life, share our experiences with feline CRF with others, and find some catharsis.
So here's my tribute to cuteness. I hope you enjoy it. And please consider purchasing some Officially Cute merchandise. If you have something in mind, such as a photo of an Officially Cute person or pet you'd like added to our merchandise, just let us know.
